Pool & Recreational Shotcrete Committee and Pool & Recreational Shotcrete Corner

The ASA (American Shotcrete Association) Pool & Spa Committee decided at their annual meeting on February 2nd 2009 to change their committee name to Pool & Recreational Shotcrete Committee and to change the name of the Pool & Spa Corner in the Shotcrete magazine to Pool & Recreational Shotcrete Corner.

Executive Assistant Melissa McClain reported that the name change was updated on the ASA website and within the Shotcrete magazine template.

The Pool & Recreational Shotcret Slides in ASA Nozzlemen Certification Education Modules will also be updated with new photos and updated shotcrete techniques and information.

Finally, the pool committee also discussed and agreed that the minimum strength for concrete in the pool industry must be at least 4000 psi regardless of dry or wet shotcrete to meet ASA standards.
